What to Wear: Trendy Patterns

What's your favorite pattern this season… Stripes, floral or totally tribal?

KK:  I will be saluting stripes this spring season.  I will be sporting the nautical look, whether it is a Breton-top paired with jeans and a cute jacket or one of these striped dresses paired with a belt.  This classic look will never go out of style.

Ralph Lauren Striped Tunic ($365), Jaipur Striped Scarf ($95), J.Crew Vintage Bateau Top (on SALE $28.80), Roarke Le Charlot Chevron Necklace ($375.53), Brooks Brothers Fedora ($148), Ralph Lauren Nautical Striped Scarf ($68), Paul & Joe Jersey Dress ($175)

GB: Fab florals…While stripes are usually my pattern of choice, I'll put a little pep in my step with some of these florally numbers, since spring is just around the corner!

Maternity and New Mom: Maternity Work Wear

Maternity work wear is all about clever mixing and
matching. Invest in comfortable pants and shoes while focusing on your
neck line for a polished look. A crisp white shirt with a cardigan is
always a great choice. I love this Isabelle Oliver tie front blouse.
The detail makes this look both contemporary and sharp.

Our stunning friend, Margaret Grace, Chair of the Board of Grace Outreach  and event chair, Sara Rodriguez are hosting a cocktail reception to honor Cathie Black, President of Hearst Magazine, on Thursday, March 4 at the Metropolitan Club.  The invitation calls for "Business Attire" and we found this Michael Kors dress demure yet contemporary with the simple cut-outs along the shoulders.  Pair the dress with a divine leopard print coat and some simple gold accessories and take this look anywhere.  Grace Outreach provides women with opportunities to advance their educa

Travel: Travel: One Night in Paris

Posted By: KK on 02/19/10 5:38 AM | Categories: Travel

One night in Paris? Start it off with a little Hôtel Costes. Get your Godard on by sitting under the stars in the courtyard eating sole meunière avec haricots verts, listening to the ever-so-cool beats. Even the—how do you say?—odor of the place is somehow romantique. Après, take your little black dress out for a spin at Le Baron and try not to feel French frisking round the dance floor in a pair of mesh heels. Still feeling up for a twirl post-Baron? Head to the Pink Paradise for a nightcap and a bit of burlesque. And then… Bonne nuit!

Check out our look on the FABULOUS website Girls Guide to Paris.
